It was the first time this season the girls have run the longer 4.4-kilometer course, as opposed to the 3.3-kilometer course, and they lost 17-43 to YIS and 15-49 to ISSH. The three middle school volleyball teams began their seasons on Saturday morning, all losing to NIS at the CAJ gym. The C Team lost 2-0 (22-25, 17-25), the B Team lost 2-0 (11-25, 19-25) and the A Team also lost 2-0 (19-25, 22-25).
