The high school girls' cross country team again had to forfeit to their opponents on Saturday due to only having four uninjured runners complete the race. The Knights lost 15-50 to Kinnick and Zama while racing the Tama Hills lower course, which is 5 kilometers long. The team ended with a 0-8 record and was ninth out of nine teams in the Kanto Plains. The high school girls' cross country team raced its second meet of the season on a rainy Saturday at Tama Hills. It was the first time this season the girls have run the longer 4.4-kilometer course, as opposed to the 3.3-kilometer course, and they lost 17-43 to YIS and 15-49 to ISSH.
